Santa & Mrs. Claus will be in the Vintage Township Sales Center in the evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, December 2nd & 3rd, 9th & 10th, and 16th & 17th. Admission to see Santa is free with one canned food item for the U-Can-Share Food Drive. The Annual Daytime Christmas Home Tours or Winter Wonderland is a highly anticipated event that you will not want to miss. A fun and family friendly patriotic event that starts off with a special Parade around Founders Park. Kids and adults alike can decorate their bikes, buggies, wagons, scooters and more with stars and stripes with red, white and blue. Patriotic characters from throughout United States history will also be available for photos. Water activities will be available so bring your towels and water fun wear. This event is free for the public to attend.
Join us for theatrical production of Disney's "Camp Rock" performed by the Lubbock Hub City Performing Arts School in Vintage Township's Founders Park on June 30th at 5:00P & July 1st at 6:30p. "Camp Rock" is an entertaining rock n' roll Cinderella story of Mitchie Torres, a teen with an amazing voice and a driving ambition to be a pop singer who wants to spend her summer at a prestigious rock camp. Unfortunately, an expensive music camp is a bit out of reach for her family, but her mother gets a job as Camp Rock's cook so that Mitchie can attend as long as she helps out in the kitchen between classes. When she's overheard singing, but not seen, by teen pop star and celebrity camp instructor, plus lead singer of Connect Three, Shane Gray, he is completely taken and sets out to find the girl behind the beautiful voice. Meanwhile, Mitchie will have to learn how to confront her fears, step out of the kitchen and into the spotlight as herself.
Free with admission for adults and totally free for children, this one night only event during the 2011 Parade of Homes at Vintage Township will delight parents and children of all ages alike. On Saturday, June 25th from 3p-8p, the Vintage Parade of Homes site will be transformed into a retro-style carnival complete with games, cotton candy, huge castle bounce house and adventure bounce obstacle course provided by Spoil Me Rotten. Free with admission to the 2011 Parade of Homes at Vintage Township, the Vintage Summer Days Festival will be held in Salisbury Park on Saturday, June 11thfrom 2p-9p. Kicking off this opening day for the Parade of Homes, the Vintage Summer Days Festival will feature live music all day as well food from Lubbock’s finest local restaurants and wine by D’Vine Wine. Playing a variety of music, popular local artists and Lubbock’s best up and coming stars, entertainment will be provided by Jr. Vasquez, Tori & Micah Vasquez, Little Wolf & Tyler T.
It's almost time for the 3rd Annual Vintage Township Porch Sale! That's right, everything you love about a garage sale, only better. Participating Vintage Township residents will display their sale items on their front porch. Shop Lubbock's best garage sale on Saturday, June 4th, 8a-11a.
Like a storybook come to life, children are invited to come to Vintage Township Founders Park in their favorite Fairy Tale costumes for a one of a kind picnic in the park and Fairy Tale experience on Saturday, May 21st from 1pm-3pm. They can meet and take pictures with live fairy tale characters (performed by Hub City Performing Arts), take a carriage ride around the park, participate in fairy tale crafts, enjoy a special themed concert performance by Hub City Performing Arts and so much more. Tickets can be purchased at the Vintage Township Sales Center at 12002 Trafalgar Street. Tickets are $15.
