Join us in helping Church on the Rock at the Miles for Missions Marathon. There will be a 5k run through Vintage Township to help raise money for those going on a mission trip with Church on the Rock. This event is open to the public.
Church on the Rock “Miles for Mission!”
On your mark. Get set-GO! On Saturday, May 1st get your running shoes on and support Miles for Missions! Join us in helping Church on the Rock at the Miles for Missions Marathon. There will be a 5k run through Vintage Township to help raise money for those going on a mission trip with Church on the Rock. Each person going on the mission trip is responsible for securing sponsors to assists them in raising money for their trip. This marathon will give each team member a chance to get their sponsor running toward their mission and financial goal. There will also be a 1 mile run or walk for those who want to participate in a shorter distance marathon. Everyone is invited to run in the Miles for Mission Marathon. Those running who are not sponsoring an individual are welcome to still participate and make a donation to Church on the Rocks, Pursue Missions International program. Hope to see you there with your running shoes ready to run for missions. This event is open to the public.

Hop on over Saturday April 3rd for an Easter celebration from 2:00p.m. untill 4:00p.m. The Vintage will be filled with Easter eggs and many activities for all ages. There will even be an Easter Parade down the streets of Vintage. Get on your bonnets to decorate and ride your bikes, wagons and strollers in the Easter parade. There will also be free train rides, face painting, and side walk chalk art contest for all ages. Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny will visit with live bunnies for photograph opportunities, and last, but not least we will read the Easter story to complete our celebration! Make your plans now to hop on out to Vintage Township with your family and friends on April 3rd to celebrate Easter 2010. We are looking forward to this exciting Easter event and hosting families from Live Oak Community Church! This event is open to the public.We will see you there!

Begin your evening at 7:00 p.m. in our 5 beautiful model homes while tasting wine from local wineries.There will also be live local entertainment and several local noteworthy restaurants serving up delicious dishes and beverages in the Town Hall until 11:00p.m.
International Interior Design is the “Future of Design” and this event will provide Interior Design students with funds to participate in seminars and industry events that will enable them to begin a successful career. Part of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Lubbock, a lodge for parents of children in the hospital for an extended time. Raffle tickets will also be sold at the event to win a home design consultation from an extremely talented team of interior design students at Texas Tech. Join us in enjoying the flavors of Lubbock while giving back to students and the community. This event is open to the public.

There is no better place to be in Lubbock during the Christmas season than Vintage Township to enjoy the beautiful sights of Christmas lights, the sounds of Christmas with live entertainment, and the taste of hot chocolate and a sugar cookie. But that is just part of it. This year we will be having our Christmas Celebration at the neighborhood’s community Town Hall. Our displays will be set up which include The Nativity Scene, Santa’s helpers, Frosty the Snowman, the Polar Bears and Igloo and the Deer scene.
And of course, we have Santa himself here. Parents bring your kids out to see and visit with Santa. The experience wouldn’t be complete without horse drawn carriage rides. And to make things even more festive--- how about actual snow!!! Time: 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m.

The kids have all summer to prepare for this performance of a life time. Or maybe it's not that serious, but none the less it's a lot of fun. The Vintage neighborhood kids, along with anyone from the public, is invited to enter into this talent show. The competition is divided into age groups. Some of the talent categories include: Best solo, best musical instrument, best dance routine, and best miscellaneous talent which might include acrobatics or a magic trick. This is a way for the kids to work hard at preparing for the performance and a time to let them shine. Prizes are awarded to the winners of the talent show.

We have our 4th of July event on the 3rd of July so that our residents have the opportunity to enjoy the great festivities and then get to sleep in the next day and attend other Independence Day events. Our celebration includes the best parade ever as the Vintage kids decorate themselves or their bikes or wagons or other in cute costumes and homemade floats. The creativity of these young minds is amazing.
The day just gets better when Founders Park transforms into a water wonderland with water wars, water slides, and water balloons galore. Also, we have the rock climbing wall. Live entertainment and food just make things more exciting. And don't forget the special guests who might include: George Washington, Betsy Ross, Paul Revere, and Uncle Sam.

This tour of homes brings out hundreds of people to view cutting-edge design and new home styles. Eight different homes built by six of Vintage's finest builders will be on showcase for your viewing pleasure. Also, while you are touring the homes come by the new Corner Market located in Market Square and enjoy a cup of coffee or some ice cream. And don't forget to check out the new Vintage pool and town hall.

The Posh Pooch Pageant is the day Vintage goes to the dogs. This event is like no other with dog contests, agility training, and dog demonstrations.
The West Texas Kennel Club and South Plains Obedience and Training group do a fine job in demonstrating that hard work and consistency pay off when investing it in the lives of your dogs. The agility tricks are spectacular to watch.
Prizes are awarded to dogs in many different categories including: biggest dog, smallest dog, smartest dog, best dog trick, and the event ends with the crowning of the King and Queen Pooch.

Water Fun at Vintage Township!
Splish Splash--why take a bath when Vintage Township's 3rd of July Celebration offers all the fun-filled water entertainment you could possibly want? This fun-filled event honors the 4th of July-- only we have it on the 3rd to give everyone the opportunity to attend other events for the Independence Day holiday. It will be time to let your hair down, throw on a swimsuit and sunscreen and make your way to Founder's Park. We'll have blow-up slides and jumpers, a dunking machine, and water balloon slingshots. Parent's Night Out at Vintage Township!
Parent's night out is once a month, the first Friday on the month from 6-10 pm, during the summer months. It is an opportunity for our Vintage Parents to get out by themselves and enjoy a night out. This is part of the healthy lifestyle we promote. We know that it is important for parent's to have some alone time and we here at Vintage are glad to help make this happen.

In conjunction with our promotion of a healthy lifestyle, we are the host for the area Farmer's Market. Beginning June 1 and continuing through the growing season, over a dozen area farmers will be bringing their fresh home grown vegetables to the market. Come enjoy the sweetness and freshness of the fruits and vegetables and also enjoy the convenience of the location of the market in Vintage Township.
Vintage Township Easter Celebration

Victory Life Baptist Church and Vintage Township join together for an amazing annual Easter celebration. Come hear Pastor Brad Jurkovich tell the Easter story and enjoy three different age levels of Easter egg hunts! We’ll have hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, cool drinks, live music and great entertainment. Jennifer Taylor will be here taking pictures with the Easter bunny, while the bouncing machines and activity booths will ensure a great time for the kids. This is an exceptional time for the whole family and not to be missed.

Neighborhood Football Fun at Vintage Township!!
Ah, the annual battle of neighbor against neighbor-when our residents come out to fight it out (okay, to just have fun!) in a tag football game on Founders Park. Come to the Information Center afterwards to enjoy a cool drink and cookies.
Posh Pooch Pageant

The day Vintage goes to the dogs! This is a great family event if you have a dog or if you just love dogs. The day will include silly pet tricks, a police K-9 dog demonstration, master/dog look-a-like contest, best dressed dog contest, and the finale will be the crowning of the king and queen pooch of the year. Prizes will be given for all of our contests. So come out and enjoy a hot dog and cold drink for lunch, as well as the many booths set up about pet adoption, grooming and taking care of your pet. Founder's Park Dedication

The first of many beautiful parks to come in Vintage Township is our Founder's Park. On October 18, 2006 it was dedicated to the founding fathers of Lubbock with the unveiling of Founder's Monument. Numerous friends, city officials and the press came out to celebrate with us. We had a catered BBQ lunch and live music with vocalists from Don Caldwell's Cactus Theater.
